Health Insurance

Residents are provided single and family coverage by Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield of South Dakota.

Dental Insurance

Residents are provided Delta Dental single coverage by CFM. Families may be added to the resident's coverage at the expense of the resident.

Vision Insurance

The Center For Family Medicine provides vision insurance for the resident and his/her family free of charge.

Professional Liability Insurance

Center for Family Medicine pays the full premium for all residents.

Disability

Residents are provided long term disability. First- and second-year residents have a $2000/mo. benefit and third-year residents have a $2500/mo. benefit. Premiums are paid in full by CFM. This policy also contains a conversion privilege upon completion of your residency.

Life Insurance

CFM provides a $50,000 term life insurance policy at no cost to the resident. This policy also contains a conversion privilege upon completion of your residency.
