Stipends (2009-2010)

First-Year Resident - $47,200*
Second-Year - $48,200*
Third-Year Resident - $49,200*
*SD has no state income tax

First year residents are furnished meals by the hospitals. Second and third year residents are provided meals at the hospitals when on call. All residents are provided lunch at noon conferences, Monday-Friday.
