In the third year, the resident spends three half-days per week at CFM. The resident also sees patients one half-day per week at the Falls Community Health Center.
Curriculum Requirements for 3rd year:
- 6 weeks CFMIT as supervising resident
- 4 weeks General Surgery
Other requirements in either the 2nd or 3rd year
- 4 weeks Rural Family Medicine (must be taken before the last 6 months of 3rd year)
- 8 weeks Orthopedics (4 weeks can be sports medicine, rheumatology)
- 4 weeks Geriatrics
- 4 weeks Dermatology
- 4 weeks Neurology
- 20 weeks of electives
