In the third year, the resident spends three half-days per week at CFM. The resident also sees patients one half-day per week at the Falls Community Health Center.
Curriculum Requirements for 3rd year:
6 weeks CFMIT as supervising resident
4 weeks Subspecialty Surgery (include ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology)
4 weeks General Surgery
4 weeks Rural Family Medicine (must be taken before the last 6 months of 3rd year)
4 weeks Emergency Medicine
8 weeks Orthopedics (can be sports medicine, rheumatology)
